Angrogna

Angrogna, positioned in the rugged valleys of western Piedmont roughly 59 kilometers southwest of Turin, leverages its dramatic alpine slopes to cultivate unique mountain flavors. This steep terrain nurtures the high-altitude vineyards of Pinerolese DOC, a wine denomination limited to just 34 municipalities. The sharp elevation changes and alpine air also foster aromatic wild herbs used in crafting Genepì del Piemonte IG. In total, Angrogna's distinctive terroir contributes to 15 protected denominations, proving that even a small mountain enclave can yield an extraordinary diversity of regulated culinary treasures, from hillside wines to herbal spirits.
