This territory is one of only 104 municipalities permitted to craft Canavese DOC, a local wine reflecting the area's steep morainic hills. In total, 15 protected denominations overlap in this specific zone. The cool mountain air flowing down to these plains also nurtures the alpine herbs required for the aromatic Genepì del Piemonte IG, while the surrounding lowlands provide the ideal grazing conditions for producing the creamy Toma Piemontese DOP.
