Within the alpine valleys of the Metropolitan City of Turin, Ceres stands as a vibrant point for Italy's protected food and spirits. Here, a remarkable 13 protected denominations find their origin or production area, intrinsically linked to the distinct local environment. Among them is the aromatic Genepì del Piemonte IG, a spirit rooted in the mountain flora of this region, encompassing a zone of 284 municipalities. The robust Toma Piemontese DOP, from an area covering 886 municipalities, also thrives in these pastures. This unique interplay of local geography and traditional craft ensures that products like Vitelloni Piemontesi della Coscia IGP and Salame Piemonte IGP bear an unmistakable identity, born purely from this place.
