Condove

In the alpine heights of Turin’s metropolitan fringe, the steep terrain of Condove shapes distinct microclimates. This rugged environment is the birthplace of Valsusa DOC, a mountain wine crafted across a restricted zone of just 19 municipalities. Complementing these high-altitude vineyards are the chestnut groves producing the Marrone della Valle di Susa IGP, a sweet chestnut limited to 28 local territories. In total, Condove boasts 16 protected denominations, including the herbal Genepì del Piemonte IG, proving that its dramatic elevation fosters some of Piedmont's most concentrated mountain flavors.
