Montalenghe

Situated in the central Canavese hills, just south of Ivrea and a short distance from the waters of Lake Candia, Montalenghe provides an ideal microclimate for viticulture. This Piedmontese enclave nurtures 15 protected denominations. Foremost among these is the Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG, a crisp white wine originating from a restricted zone of just 36 municipalities. The local terroir also shapes the character of Canavese DOC wines, which span a slightly broader area of 104 towns. These local viticultural treasures thrive alongside regional specialties, defining Montalenghe's distinct agricultural identity.
