The surrounding mountain pastures also fuel the production of Alpine cheeses like Raschera DOP, which is limited to 248 municipalities. In total, this mountain outpost hosts 18 protected denominations, demonstrating how its dual-valley topography fosters a concentrated hub of Piedmontese gastronomy.
