Salmour

Salmour, a Piedmontese commune of 716 inhabitants in the Cuneo province, leverages its fertile lowland soils to cultivate northern Italy's finest agricultural specialties. Among its 19 protected denominations, the local microclimate nurtures the crisp Mela Rossa Cuneo IGP, a red apple grown across a selective zone of 45 municipalities. The area also yields the delicate Fagiolo Cuneo IGP and the aromatic Bra DOP cheese.
