Vinadio, a secluded alpine enclave of just over five hundred residents in the rugged mountains of Cuneo, channels its high-altitude microclimates into a surprising agricultural bounty. This steep terrain hosts 18 protected denominations, led by local specialties like the Fagiolo Cuneo IGP, a delicate bean cultivated across a specific zone of 247 municipalities. The alpine pastures also yield the distinctively salty Raschera DOP cheese, aged in cold mountain cellars.
