The MASAF-recognised Consorzio Vini Venezia safeguards a specific portfolio of local designations, representing a verified base of 148 producers. It actively protects two premium wine denominations that each count all 148 producers: Lison DOCG and Piave Malanotte DOCG. Beyond these, the consortium defends Venezia DOC, Lison-Pramaggiore DOC, Veneto Orientale IGT, and the Piave DOP food denomination from imitation. By maintaining official registries and promoting these distinct names, this body ensures that international wine enthusiasts can confidently experience the genuine, high-quality character of this historical viticultural area.
