Perched high above the rugged valleys of the Bormida and Uzzone torrents, the tiny Cuneo hamlet of Bergolo leverages its sharp Alta Langa elevations to craft exceptional specialties. This steep, wind-swept environment shapes the distinctive pastures required for Murazzano DOP, a delicate sheep’s milk cheese produced across a restricted zone of 50 municipalities. The sharp diurnal temperature swings on these stone-terraced hillsides also nurture the grapes for Langhe DOC wines.
