Agordo

Agordo, the historic mining hub of the Cordevole valley, shapes its alpine flavors from rugged peaks where Ladin heritage still thrives. This alpine terrain is the birthplace of Miele delle Dolomiti Bellunesi DOP, a wildflower honey produced within a territory of 60 municipalities. The high-altitude pastures also yield the dense, crystalline Piave DOP cheese. In total, 15 protected denominations overlap in this mountainous boundary, proving that a landscape once defined by deep-earth copper extraction can cultivate remarkably delicate culinary treasures on its steep, sunlit slopes.
