Portobuffolè

Though Portobuffolè is the smallest municipality in the Treviso province by both land area and population, this compact riverine outpost yields an impressive culinary footprint, sharing 20 protected denominations. Its position along the historic Livenza river corridor shapes the microclimate for the highly localized Alto Livenza IGT, a wine denomination restricted to just 15 municipalities. The gravelly alluvial soils also nurture the Raboso grapes required for the Piave Malanotte DOCG.
