In the southern lowlands of Padova province, Agna’s clay-rich alluvial soils shape a distinctive viticultural landscape. This specific flat terrain nurtures the robust Raboso grapes behind the renowned Bagnoli Friularo DOCG, a powerful red wine whose cultivation area is restricted to just 14 local municipalities. It is the crown jewel among the 17 protected denominations overlapping in Agna's territory. This lowland terroir also excels in producing Bagnoli di Sopra DOC wines, benefiting from a humid microclimate that tempers summer heat to develop deep, expressive varietal characteristics.
