AMERIO LUCA

Amerio Luca is based in Moasca, a small municipality between Nizza Monferrato and Canelli, and works with three DOCG denominations: Barbera d'Asti, Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, and Terre Alfieri. The red grape varieties of Asti Monferrato set the pace, with Barbera undergoing a minimum aging of four months, alongside the white component provided by Terre Alfieri. In the cellar, a conservative approach prevails, where intervention is minimized and listening to the wine guides decisions, allowing each of the three denominations to retain its own character rather than being reduced to a uniform style. The result is a contained but coherent range, in which reds of different temperaments and a white coexist under rigorous disciplines.
