Armea di Podestà

Across six hectares of clay soils in Desenzano del Garda, Armea di Podestà works at the intersection of three denominations: San Martino della Battaglia DOC, Riviera del Garda Classico DOC, and Benaco Bresciano IGT. This range of production specifications translates into a spectrum of styles, from the Tocai Friulano of the first to the red grape varieties of the second—Groppello, Marzemino, and the blended varieties. Whites, reds, and rosés thus tell the story of the fresh lake terroir from different angles, held together by manual harvesting and consistent cellar choices. The three denominations do not dilute the company's identity: a distinctive personality remains the common thread, while vineyard care serves as a shared method. This is a production that uses variety as a tool for interpreting the Brescia side of Lake Garda, not as a showcase.
