Since 1860, the Bellussi family has cultivated vines in the Valle del Piave, gradually evolving from a family business to a producer keenly aware of the varieties that define the region. Based in Vazzola, the company works with two distinct DOCG wines: Lison, a white born from Tai grapes, and Piave Malanotte, a red where Raboso Piave patiently ages to build structure and complexity. The two wines tell the story of two faces of Veneto winemaking — one taut and aromatic, the other robust and patient — yet they share the same origin of accumulated labor. Bellussi combines inherited experience with contemporary viticultural techniques, applying to each harvest an observation passed down through generations. It's not nostalgia but operational memory: knowing when the vineyard demands patience and when it's time for harvest. Across just two denominations, the company thus concentrates a precision refined by time, yielding wines faithful to the character of the Valle del Piave, where white and red mark the two extremes of a single landscape.
