AZIENDA AGRICOLA ANDREA FELICI DI LEOPARDO FELICI

Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCGCònero DOCGVerdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG+1

Andrea Felici cultivates ten hectares between Apiro and Cupramontana, in the land that has made Verdicchio its signature. The portfolio spans four DOCG denominations, intertwining two opposing souls. On one side, the long-aging whites: the two Verdicchio Riservas, Verdicchio di Matelica DOCG Riserva and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOCG Riserva, which require at least eighteen months of aging and have earned the respect of the most demanding Italian critics. On the other, the reds and less predictable forms. Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOCG showcases its twin expressions — sparkling and red from Vernaccia nera — while Cònero DOCG, structured and taut, matures for no less than twenty-four months before release. In just a few labels, foam, tannin, and the nervous minerality of the Marche white grape coexist, without any of the four denominations overshadowing the others. It's a holistic interpretation of the territory, conveyed through wines that tell of its varying altitudes, exposures, and maturation times.
