Four Marche `DOCG`s comprise the repertoire of Azienda Vitivinicola Lucarelli, a path that crosses the region from north to south and gathers its most recognizable denominations. Two are `Verdicchio`-based—the `Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva` and `Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Riserva`—while `Vernaccia di Serrapetrona` splits into sparkling and red versions, and `Cònero` unites `Montepulciano` and `Sangiovese` in a structured red. Each label adheres to demanding regulations, and the aging times demonstrate this: a minimum of eighteen months for the `Verdicchio Riserva` wines, twenty-four for the `Cònero`, thresholds designed to guarantee longevity and aromatic complexity. The winery does not treat these four denominations as a mere collection, but as a way to explore an entire region through its pivotal grape varieties, whites and reds side by side. Visitors can stop for a tasting and line up, glass after glass, the arc that separates a hillside `Verdicchio` from a coastal `Cònero`.
