Duchessa Lia, based in Santo Stefano Belbo at the heart of Piedmont's Brachetto d'Acqui zone, takes its name from a nineteenth-century Monferrato figure celebrated for authentic elegance rooted in rural origins. The producer crafts Brachetto in its expressive forms—still, sparkling, and passito—each capturing the distinctive character of the Astigiano's rolling vineyards. Drawing from the UNESCO-designated Langhe landscape, Duchessa Lia interprets a varietal known for its aromatic finesse and the subtle minerality that defines this historic denomination.
