Villa di Geggiano

Six kilometres north-east of Siena, Villa di Geggiano commands the southernmost vineyards of Chianti Classico. The 14th-century estate, meticulously restored in the 1780s, preserves its baroque interior intact—wallpapers, furnishings, and salons that transport visitors to 18th-century Italian country life. Today the villa couples its architectural heritage with organic viticulture, cultivating Sangiovese and approved Tuscan red varieties across the storied hillsides.
