Villa Russiz

Villa Russiz in Capriva del Friuli was founded by Baroness Elvine Ritter de Zàhony and Count Theodor de La Tour, whose vision married the Collio Goriziano's natural vocation for viticulture with a parallel commitment to social good. The estate's wines—from white varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot grigio, and Ribolla gialla to aromatic Traminer—reflect both terroir and purpose. Today, Villa Russiz remains deeply rooted in that dual legacy: crafting Collio Goriziano DOC expressions while the estate's foundation continues Elvine's pioneering work supporting disadvantaged youth, a mission woven into the winery's identity for over a century.
