While standard wines allow a 70% must-to-wine yield, its sweet Passito is legally capped at a concentrated 45% yield, reaching a minimum 14% total alcohol. Its sparkling Frizzante styles are uniquely segregated by residual sugar: Verduzzo Friulano must contain between 10 and 40 grams per liter, whereas all other frizzante variations are restricted to 10 grams or less.
