This geographic transition yields the Nostrano Valtrompia DOP, an intensely aromatic saffron-hued cheese crafted in a strict territory of only 19 municipalities. The local slopes also nurture the terraced vineyards of the Ronchi di Brescia IGT, a wine designation shared by just 12 communes.
