Bedollo

Perched in the mountainous heights of the Trento province, Bedollo is a compact alpine community of 1,510 residents where steep mountain farming shapes a highly specialized food culture. This high-altitude landscape falls within the official borders of 19 protected denominations. The sharp thermal excursions and pure air here are ideal for orchard cultivation, giving rise to the crisp Mele del Trentino IGP. These same climatic conditions concentrate the sugars and aromas in the stone fruits and mountain botanicals harvested across these slopes, which are destined for local copper stills to produce spirits like the aromatic Aprikot trentino IG.
