Home to just over 2,500 residents in the Venetian foothills of Vicenza, the small territory of Chiuppano yields 17 protected denominations. This transition zone between mountains and plains shapes the character of Vicenza DOC wines, a specialized production shared with only 81 other municipalities. The local climate also fosters the curing of Soprèssa Vicentina DOP, a garlic-spiced salami restricted to 113 communes. Here, the unique topography concentrates cool Alpine air currents, defining the maturation of these regional specialties and ensuring that every vintage and cured meat reflects Chiuppano's distinct geographic footprint.
