Loreggia

Loreggia, situated roughly twenty kilometers north of Padua, thrives in the fertile alluvial plains of the Veneto. This specific terroir feeds 16 protected denominations. Here, the moist, cool soil nurtures the crisp Radicchio Rosso di Treviso IGP and the stunning Radicchio Variegato di Castelfranco IGP, both local winter specialties. The local microclimate also shapes the grapes destined for the Riviera del Brenta DOC, yielding elegant, food-friendly wines. Loreggia represents a vital northern outpost where river-fed soils and Venetian agricultural heritage converge to produce some of the region's most celebrated radicchi and distinctive wines.
