AGRIVERDE Cantina Agriverde Srl

In Ortona, on the Adriatic coast, Agriverde masters the entire spectrum of classified Abruzzo wines. Six DOC denominations make up its repertoire: from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, the benchmark red, to Cerasuolo, its rosé version, and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo among the whites, as well as the broad regional Abruzzo denomination. These are joined by two smaller, more precisely defined areas, Villamagna and Controguerra, which add geographical specificity to the range. What unites such diverse expressions is a methodological choice: organic cultivation, which excludes chemical inputs at every stage and allows the balance between soil, plant, and climate to do its work. This results in robust vines and healthy grapes, raw materials from which the company produces recognizable wines, each linked to its own area of origin. Agriverde's strength lies precisely in this managed breadth: covering almost the entire Abruzzese enological map without losing the identity of each individual denomination, from full-bodied reds to the whites of the coastal slopes.
