Az.Agr Mazzi Lea works the volcanic soils of Campagnatico, in Grosseto's Montecucco zone, where Sangiovese thrives under Tuscan sun. The estate focuses on red wines anchored in Sangiovese, blended selectively with compatible regional varieties. Each vintage spends a minimum of 17 months aging, building structure and depth. This methodical approach yields Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG wines of measured character—neither overextracted nor rushed—reflecting both vineyard and winemaker intent.
