AZ. AGR. TENUTA MUSONE SOCIETA' AGRICOLA A R.L
Jesi · Province of Ancona · Marche
From Colognola, at the gates of Jesi, Tenuta Musone organically cultivates an unusually broad range: four denominations among the Marche hills, all with DOCG status. Verdicchio appears in two Riserva forms that compare two terroirs—the narrower, cooler valley of Matelica and the more open amphitheater of Castelli di Jesi—revealing how the same grape variety changes its voice depending on the soil. Alongside the whites, the cellar explores the region's reds and rarities: Cònero, led by Montepulciano, and Vernaccia nera di Serrapetrona, vinified into unusual sparkling and red wines that make it a regional unique. Since 2010, cellar technology has supported this research into indigenous grape varieties, without replacing the work in the vineyard. Visitors to the estate can explore the entire spectrum of these expressions in one place: stopping in Jesi means tasting, side by side, the two souls of Verdicchio and the lesser-known reds of Marche, in a direct comparison between nearby yet distinct denominations.
