Azienda Agr. Russo Antonio Marino

On the slopes of Montecassino Abbey, on the lands of Cassino, Azienda Russo Antonio Marino oversees a single denomination: Atina DOC, a Ciociaria designation that finds one of its interpreters here. In the cellar, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot—international grapes—are vinified into structured reds and riserve, complemented by a mineral-driven white. Everything is bottled on the estate and offered for direct sale, without intermediaries between producer and buyer. The scale is deliberately contained: small volumes allow the owner to follow each phase with a level of control that large yields do not permit. It's a production that prioritizes depth over breadth, where the riserva and the white tell two different ways of interpreting the same soil at the foot of the mountain.
