Based in Castiglione a Casauria, in the province of Pescara, Azienda Agricola Angelucci Antonio operates along an unusual line, bringing Abruzzo into the wine and olive oil regions of Salerno. The olive oil core is Cilento DOP, an extra virgin oil with a green-yellow color, fruity notes, and the typical bitter-spicy finish that signals its origin. On the wine front, the producer works with four Salerno denominations, divided by style: the structured reds of Castel San Lorenzo DOC and Cilento DOC, built on Barbera and Sangiovese, and the more agile, everyday expressions of Paestum IGT and Colli di Salerno IGT.
