Azienda Agricola di Lombardo Antonella

In Bianco, on the Ionian coast of Reggio Calabria, Azienda Agricola di Lombardo Antonella is a young estate, established in 2019 on marly-calcareous soils bathed by the eastern sun. Their work revolves around indigenous Calabrian varieties—Nerello, Montonico, and others—distributed across four IGT denominations covering the territories of Pellaro, Costa Viola, Palizzi, and Locride, an arc that connects the Strait of Messina and the southern Ionian strip. The range is as broad as the spectrum of IGTs: red sparkling wines reaching 13% alcohol, whites and rosés capable of moving from dry versions to *passiti*. It is a production that seeks character more than smoothness, shaped by marine winds and practices linked to the terroir. The winery welcomes visitors all year round, with tastings that allow one to discern, glass after glass, how the same sun creates different wines depending on the slope and the grape variety.
