In Ostra Vetere, in the province of Ancona, Fratelli Bucci focuses its work on four of the most demanding DOCG denominations in the Marche region. The core is Verdicchio, expressed in two distinct areas — Matelica and Castelli di Jesi, both in the Riserva version — where aging requires at least eighteen months of careful monitoring before bottling. Around this white axis revolve two complementary expressions: Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, which plays between sparkling and red in a rare dual register, and Cònero, a structured red built on Montepulciano and Sangiovese. Four protected designations here are not a commercial whim but proof of technical precision: the ability to interpret different soils and grape varieties with the same discipline.
