Azienda Agricola Tullio

Azienda Agricola Tullio operates within the DOC Atina, a denomination spanning twelve municipalities in the Frusinate hills of southern Lazio. Here, the focus is on structured red wines with an international flair: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot combine to create wines where the slopes around Gallinaro impart a tension capable of holding power and definition together. It's a high-altitude terroir, not commonly associated with the image of Lazio wine, and it is precisely in this distinction that part of its appeal lies. The production is clearly articulated on two levels. The base red offers immediate access to the character of the area, while the Riserva, crafted from a minimum alcohol content of 12.0% and intended for aging, seeks depth and longevity. The estate does not welcome visitors: its voice is entrusted entirely to the bottles, which convey balance and precision more effectively than any presentation, and tell the story of a still largely unexplored hilly side of Lazio.
