From Chivasso, at the gates of the Turin area, Battaglia Gino brings together three Piedmontese denominations that cover diverse registers of the regional landscape. Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG offers a spicy note and distinctive minerality; Terre Alfieri DOCG broadens the range with varied typologies, where Arneis and Nebbiolo find expression on northern slopes. These two names already reveal an attention to varietal detail rather than production scale. The third denomination, Barbera d'Asti DOCG, adds the most widespread and recognizable red grape variety of the area, aged for at least four months and distributed across a zone of 165 municipalities. Bringing together spice, aromatic structure, and fruit means traversing very distinct textures and conveying their differences without flattening them. Battaglia Gino thus presents itself as a compact producer with a broad vision, capable of navigating the wine-growing terroirs gravitating around the Turin area.
