BOGGIONE CLAUDIO AZ.AGR.
Barolo · Province of Cuneo · Piemonte
In the lands of Barolo and the esteemed Brunate subzone, the Boggione Claudio winery carries forward a family legacy dating back to grandfather Antonio. Since 2008, under the guidance of Claudio and Franco, vineyard work has taken a precise direction: abandonment of herbicides and insecticides, sowing of cover crops to nourish the soil, and treatments reduced to the essential. This agronomic choice precedes the glass and defines its character. The repertoire is structured around four Piedmontese denominations. The two benchmark Nebbiolo wines of the Langhe, Barolo and Barbaresco, demand long aging and yield wines of imposing structure, built for longevity. Alongside them, the Dolcetto di Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba offer a more immediate and everyday interpretation of the territory, without sacrificing precision. Overall, the estate paints a portrait of the Barolo hills that combines ambition and measure, long-term vision and immediate pleasure.
