CASAGRANDE PIRANI GABRIELE

Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCGCònero DOCGVerdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG+1

In Marche, without a declared physical location but with a clearly defined range, Casagrande Pirani Gabriele oversees four DOCG denominations that encompass both regional reds and whites. The Cònero brings together muscular blends of Montepulciano and Sangiovese, subjected to a mandatory twenty-four months of aging, while the Vernaccia nera di Serrapetrona splits into an elegant sparkling wine and a structured red, uniting two facets of the same grape variety. Completing the picture are two Verdicchio Riserva wines: that of Matelica, born from cooler slopes, and that of Castelli di Jesi, with a broader scope. Both adhere to rigorous aging protocols, which set minimum times and alcohol levels as a guarantee of longevity. The four denominations thus create a coherent range, anchored more to the discipline of protocols than to improvisation: each wine reflects the specificity of its protected area and the technical constraints that define it. It's a portfolio that reads like a small oenological geography of Marche, ordered by type and rigor.
