Casetta Fratelli

Roero DOCG

In Vezza d'Alba, where the family has been settled since 1725, Casetta Fratelli cultivates the steep slopes of the `Roero` between 200 and 400 meters. The Astian marls of the Pliocene form the foundation: from these ancient soils comes the minerality that runs through both the red `Nebbiolo` and the white `Arneis`, the two poles around which the denomination revolves. Soil care is codified: the estate practices integrated viticulture certified according to The Green Experience standard, and this environmental attention is reflected in the structure and floral bouquet of the wines. Time completes the work—a minimum of twenty months of aging allows reds, whites, and sparkling wines to develop the finesse promised by the terroir. The result is a range that combines agronomic rigor and family heritage, where three centuries of presence on the same hill translate not into rhetoric but into stylistic coherence, recognizable bottle after bottle.
