Gualdo del Re

Gualdo del Re tends 27 hectares of vines on the sun-exposed slopes of Suvereto, where Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot thrive in dialogue with the Mediterranean light. The estate's method—blending discipline with experimentation—yields wines of both Tuscan identity and cosmopolitan reach. Three signature crus define the house: Cabraia, a Supertuscan of Cabernet varieties; the eponymous Gualdo del Re, pure Sangiovese; and Rennero, a Merlot whose five consecutive triumphs at Mondo Merlot established it as Italy's benchmark in its class.
