Montemelino

Montemelino operates as a certified organic farm across 60 hectares on the northern slopes of Lake Trasimeno, straddling Umbria and Tuscany at 300 metres elevation. Since 1961, the estate has remained under family stewardship—first through Margret and Guido, now through their daughter Sabina and Pier. The vineyard produces Colli del Trasimeno DOC wines from Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Merlot, Cabernet, and Gamay, crafting whites, Vin Santo, and premium selections. Guido's artistic legacy—murals that distinguish each building—infuses the property with creative identity beyond viticulture.
