Rocca delle Macie

In 1972, Italo Zingarelli acquired Le Macìe estate in Castellina in Chianti, transforming a crumbling hillside borgo into Rocca delle Macie. The winery commands the valley from its stone foundation, surrounded by Mediterranean woodland and rolling terrain. Five decades later, the producer remains rooted in ethical viticulture and family values, crafting Toscano IGT wines from Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano, and Canaiolo Nero across red, white, and rosé expressions. Visitors experience both the architecture and philosophy that define this Tuscan vision.
