Tenuta La Chiusa

Tenuta La Chiusa occupies 20 hectares on Elba's northern coast, where stone walls built centuries ago still enclose vines and centuries-old olive trees. The estate's name recalls the barrier that defines its boundary—and its identity. Here, Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano, and Canaiolo Nero flourish in the island's maritime microclimate, yielding Toscano IGT whites, reds, and rosati. The cellars date to the late 1500s; the neoclassical villa anchors the property. Today, visitors experience both wine and landscape, tasting how terroir shaped an island tradition across five centuries.
