Tenuta Mattei commands four DOCG designations across the Marche region, anchoring its portfolio in two expressions of Verdicchio—the white grape that defines the zone's mineral identity. The estate produces both the aged Riserva versions from Matelica and Castelli di Jesi, each requiring 18 months minimum maturation to develop complexity. Complementing these are the structured reds: Montepulciano and Sangiovese blends from Cònero DOCG, aged a minimum of 24 months, and the distinctive Vernaccia nera from Serrapetrona, crafted as both still and sparkling cuvées.
