Vernèra

Vernèra works within the Monti Iblei DOP zone, a 39-municipality region in south-eastern Sicily where olive cultivation harnesses the limestone slopes of the ancient hills. Their extra virgin oil captures the season's early harvest—green tomato and grassy herbaceousness mark the medium-to-intense character of fruit pressed here. The geography alone explains why this corner of the island produces oils of such distinct sensory profile, where altitude and mineral-rich soil shape every pressing.
