Vitivinicola Ottantasei di Mirko Locatelli

Chiuduno · Province of Bergamo · Lombardia

Scanzo DOCG

Mirko Locatelli's winery in Chiuduno has roots reaching back to 1954, when his grandfather Angelo established the family's first agricultural venture on the Val Calepio hillsides. Today, Vitivinicola Ottantasei produces Scanzo DOCG—the rare Moscato variety that yields both a red wine and a structured passito, each aged a minimum of 24 months and reaching at least 17% alcohol. The estate also crafts Bergamasca Rosso IGT from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, blending Bergamo's terroir with seven decades of family expertise.
