Riva del Po

Formed in 2019 through the union of Berra and Ro along the banks of the Po River, the newborn municipality of Riva del Po is defined by its fertile, river-fed soils. Here, 3 local producers craft 18 protected delicacies. The wetland terrain nourishes Riso del Delta del Po IGP, a cereal perfectly adapted to this watery landscape. These humid alluvial plains also yield the wheat behind the twisted Coppia Ferrarese IGP bread, which accompanies local specialties like Salama da sugo IGP. The river's physical legacy shapes every flavor born in this unique riverbank territory.
