Agricola Coletti

On the sun-drenched slopes of Ofena, in L'Aquila, Agricola Coletti operates within six Abruzzese denominations that cover the region's entire chromatic spectrum. The white wines are born from Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, ranging from entry-level versions to Superiore, depending on the season and pairing; the red wines revolve around Montepulciano, which gives body to the Villamagna, Controguerra, Abruzzo, and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo labels; the rosés find their voice in Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo. The Villamagna Riserva concentrates the character of the grape variety in ten months of aging, building structure and depth, while the Cerasuolo opts for a path of more immediate elegance, demonstrating the versatility the same terroir can express. Navigating six DOCs in the same territory is not an exercise in quantity but in precision: each denomination imposes its own rules and grape varieties, and the winery keeps them distinct without flattening them.
