Salice Salentino DOCSicilia IGPSicilia DOC

Angelo Rocca & Figli manages a deliberately broad geographical scope from a modern base in Agrate Brianza, Lombardy, although none of its denominations are Lombard. Founded in 1880 by Francesco, the company now spans five generations and three protected designations that cross regional borders: the Salice Salentino DOC from Salento, with its Negroamaro reds, and Sicily in two distinct forms, the wine DOC which includes Nero d'Avola, and the IGP dedicated to extra virgin olive oil. This is a multi-territorial model, which brings together the typicality of each area and a careful understanding of the market: the same company produces Apulian wine, Sicilian wine, and Sicilian oil under a common quality standard. This strategy, more logistical than parochial, has brought the products to over 40 countries, making a Brianza headquarters the distribution hub for denominations belonging to the South. The thread that unites them is not the place of origin, but the hand that selects and distributes them.
