Antico Borgo di Sugame

In Greve in Chianti, Antico Borgo di Sugame combines wine production with hospitality. Since 2000, owners Lorenzo and Catrina Miceli have run an organic farm here, overlooking the Florentine hills of Chianti. The cornerstone of the cellar is Chianti Classico DOCG, a red wine centered on Sangiovese with at least twelve degrees of alcohol, complemented by crisp rosés and other quality wines born from the same vineyards cultivated without synthetic chemicals. The property remains accessible all year round, designed for both short stops and longer stays. The independent apartments, with one to three bedrooms, are arranged to capture open views of the surrounding hills. Those who stay can alternate between tastings at the estate and days among the rows of vines: it's advisable to plan a visit that connects the tasting of Chianti Classico to the landscape that generates it, staying a few nights in the village.
