From San Polo di Piave, Antonio Facchin & Figli has carried on the work of four generations of winemakers on the river's clayey soils since 1870. One hundred and fifty years have refined a touch that today expresses itself in two denominations of maximum guarantee: on one side, Tai, which yields linear and direct whites; on the other, the indigenous Raboso, the base for structured reds destined for aging. White and red thus mark the two poles of the same Venetian terroir. The combination is not accidental: these are the grape varieties that best tell the story of this stretch of the Treviso plain, where the clay retains and concentrates. The company combines knowledge consolidated over time with modern vineyard management, seeking in each harvest the same balance between tradition and precision. The cellars are open to visitors for guided tastings, an opportunity to taste the house's whites and reds side by side and to read the character of the Piave in the bottles.
